hey, i'm lowell.
I'm a technical artist based in sunny Singapore.
In my free time, I mainly create characters and short cinematics while dabbling in as many procedural and automated workflows as possible. I’m most comfortable working in Unreal Engine, Houdini, and Python.
I started my journey with a Diploma in Game Design & Development at Temasek Polytechnic, where I eventually discovered a love for art and later pivoted towards a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts at DigiPen Singapore.

I was especially drawn to the problem-solving and mathematical side of creating 3D art, which naturally led me down the path of technical art.
More recently, I’ve been focusing on improving my VFX skills to round out my skillset, while constantly picking up new techniques and workflows along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy fighting games, coffee, and whatever flavor-of-the-month game has taken over my free time. I’ve also been trying to get into the gym and watch more movies while resisting the urge to analyze every shot too closely.
